Trash the Dress #2

A few weeks ago, I did a post Trash the Dress # 1 and we followed that up the next day with a second trashing, with dress # 2.  I loved this dress, it had a victorian feel to me, with the puffy grey skirt.  We headed to a friends dad's property in Mooloolah on the Sunshine Coast where we had a range of different backdrops we could use.  First we started at the house then head down to the paddock where there were cows, a creek and one of the most stunning trees I've ever seen.  We had a lot of fun that day and the rain coming on and off most of the afternoon, did little to dampen or spirits!!

This is probably my favourite shot of Mima over both days.  I looooove the bricks and her eyes just jump out at you.  She really was a great little model :P

I love these Geisha girl trees with their delicate little purple flowers.  I especially liked it that day as it was a really big tree and the purple went so well with the grey skirt.

These were some of the last shots I did (only today actually) but I love the rustic, country feel with the wood and the corrugated iron *sigh*

This is the beautiful big gum tree, the only tree in the back paddock (well, nearly) until riiiiiiight down the back near the creek (the line of trees in the background).

The cows were so curious, they stood around and watched us for ages.  Got a little hairy (especially for Mima) a couple times, they came so close we could touch them!!

This was a concept I had in my head so I bought the umbrella on my way to the coast and was so happy with how it turned out.  Something about a bubble shower......... but special thanks has to go to my awesome helper Manda who ran around with the bubble gun and shot until we had no bubble juice left.  Nice work Manda :)

These were more fantastic than I could've hoped for.  The light was so perfect, coming through all the gorgeous trees.  Awwwww..... perfect :)

Such a trooper getting down and dirty in the creek and in a big puddle we found.  Goodness knows what lives in the creek but she emerged unhurt, just a little soggy hehehe :)

I have one more post in the Trash the Dress series.  We finished day 2 with our model putting her original dress back on from the previous day and we had a little more fun with it.... I can't wait to share them soon!!  Again it was an idea I had and just wanted to see what we could do but I had no idea they would turn out as brilliantly as they did...... stay tuned.
I can't thank both Mima and Manda enough for letting me go wild with our shoot and I hope they had as much fun as I did.  On ya ladies...... mmwah xx
