Joel and Colleen.... making babies :)

I was so excited about another maternity shoot but not only, another maternity shoot at the beach.  I met with Joel and Colleen up at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast for what would end up being another awesome maternity shoot.  These two make such an adorable couple, it was easy to take good shots of them.....

Love love love this one..... ;)

I loved this spot we found and started at..... all the beautiful earthly colours together :)

This was some stunning Thai silk that Colleen had and it was just so perfect for this shot

This is probably my favourite shot from the day although, there are so many that I love but this one came up so well after a little play and a touch of arty colours

This series was a fave also, especially the middle shot

We had a lot of fun at the beach and we got soooo many good photos from the day.  After the beach we found a little spot to catch the last bit of sunshine as it disappeared for another day.

See what I mean about adorable couple?!?!?!

Just loved the sun glare in this shot

Thanks for such a fun afternoon guys, it was so much fun and such a pleasure.

Colleen and Joel welcomed a little boy just a few weeks later and I got to meet him for his newborn photos too.  Stay tuned for them!!

Beautiful Baby BREELLE

I had the pleasure and delight of photographing this little cherub, Breelle.  Mum, Corinne and big sister Paige were also on hand to help.  Little Bree was wide awake for most of the time I was there and was way too interested in what I was doing than having a peaceful sleep.

I'm in love with this foot stool!  This is a cover I made from some gorgeous Vietnamese silk and I also made a matching headband..... soooooo cute :)

*....... sigh .......*

Even though she was awake for longer than we would've liked (while she was awake, she just wanted to feed, cheeky girl ;) ), she was just too precious....

This was where she finally dosed off, I knew we would wear her out eventually :)

Cute little hat my grandma made for me

Another headband that I've made for my newborn little girls.  I'm a sucker for purple and red :)

Thanks again to Corinne and Mick for letting me be apart of Bree's first photo shoot.

Maternity with the lovely Corinne

It took weeks of planning and cancelling to finally get our maternity shoot done with Corinne up on the Sunshine Coast.  Every time we tried to organise a day, we had to postpone due to bad weather.  Even on this day, as I was driving to meet Corinne, I was driving into black, black storm clouds.  As it was, when we got to the beach, the sky's cleared, the sun came out and we had 20 minutes of the most perfect light for a super quick shoot.

In the first few we took at this tree the sun was just peeking through with gorgeous light...

When we went around to the other side, we were greeted with more glorious sunlight....

I would never have imagined the sky could be this stunning.... even as the storm clouds rolled back in, it didn't matter which way I shot, the sky looked so pretty!!  And the rocks and water on there own, were just as pretty!

This one was a bit arty and I was playing around with some different effects.  I love the dark purple cloud creeping into the top corner (that was the storm on its way back).

I think this one is my favourite and especially as a panoramic but all these shots with that spectacular sky are winner in my book!

We were so lucky to get any shots that day let alone some of the prettiest and best shots I've taken.  Thanks to Corinne for being so awesome and patient while we waited for the weather to turn in our favour.

Corinne welcomed a beautiful little girl a few weeks later and I'll be sharing some of her cute newborn shots soon :)

FASHION Shoot #4 - Farm

{I completely forgot about this post!!  It's been sitting here for months un-posted.  It is the final installment from my fashion shoots with the talented Renee Skewis}

It's hard to say which of the four shoots is my favourites as they were all awesome locations, all the models were fantastic, I have many amazing shots and I has a blast at them all.  But I think that by a slim margin, the farm shoot.  We had old hands at the game now Melissa, Ashlee and Sharon and our newest recruit, Michelle.  We had a beautiful afternoon with great sunlight and girls.

This was Michelle and she did a really good job for someone who was clearly nervous at the start but warmed up and was fabulous!!

Aaahhhhhhh.......... Ashlee

 Melissa, Melissa, Melissa..........

Michelle got some magical light towards the end

This abandoned old house was just an awesome place to shoot and I can't wait to go back :)

This was the last of the shoots I did with Renee and from the bottom of my heart I say thank you for the experience, I had a great time xx
