I was lucky enough to have a fantastic shoot with awesome models fall into my lap last week via an old friend Lyn, who I hadn’t spoken to in what seemed like nearly a year!! When I called she told me her son had just had his first baby a mere 7 days prior and invited me to take some photos of the newest little man in the family. When I arrived at her place, she told me they’d be arriving shortly as well as a friend was also coming along and bringing her 2 adorable girls. I ended up doing little BLADE with his parents Beau and Kerri and grandmother Lyn of course and it turned out just beautifully.

After that, it was SOPHIE and KAYLAs turn with their mother Natasha. Baby Sophie is only 3 months old and so full of smiles and giggles, it was infectious. Her older sister Kayla was also full of smiles and had such gorgeous sparkly eyes and both girls just adored each other.

I was so thrilled how this shoot turned out and considering it was only 1 short week ago. I have many beautiful photos for everyone to go through; I can’t wait to see their reactions!!

The oh so gorgeous KAIA

This could easily be one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever met.  She is 6 year old Kaia and she is big sister to Sunny Rose (a newborn from an earlier post).  Kaia was a delight to photograph, so full of life with such an outgoing personality.  I blew some bubbles while she went crazy popping them aswell as stomping every last one that landed on the ground.  She is just adorable with a face that seems so much wiser then its few short years.  What a treasure:)

Many thanks to Dani and Bridgee for allowing me to take photos of their beautiful girls:)
On ya....... two thumbs up!

As I said, she is Sunnys' older sister.  I put this storyboard together after I'd done up another photo of Sunny and wanted to share it.  I'm loving the dots and the overall feel of the end result - so cute:)  I tried to do them to match too but also be just a little different.

Would you believe this little guy fell out of my washing one day and he was about as big as your thumb nail. The washing had been sitting in the basket all day and he would have come out of the middle somewhere so we rushed him outside into a plant we knew held water but not before I could take a couple of photos.  I hadn't seen a frog this small and that colour before - but that may or may not have something to do with being wrapped up in pajama pants for most of the day! He was a pale creamy colour with steel grey markings and huge eyes that I swear was watching my every move!

Hip hip.... hooray

Birthday boy Mark had a wonderful day on Sunday the 2nd of May.... his 40th birthday.  His day began with breakfast (as most days do) prepared by me and fit for a king.... eggs benedict.

After that he had yummy coffee with birthday fudge brownies.  Then, later in the afternoon we went for a picnic in the park with cheese and olives and dips and wine.  Last but not least, for dinner he got a baked whole snapper stuffed with prawns and citrus.....!!!  YUMMY!  But the best thing was that I got to eat all those yummy things too :)   Obviously I know all too well the way to my boyfriends heart is direct via his stomach!!

This is my favourite photo of Mark.  I've redone it in photoshop to make him look even more handsome.  The photo itself was taken a couple of years ago but it still melts my heart every time I look at it.  The tattoo for those wondering is the Chinese symbol for the Year of the Dog (1970).

This is with his gorgeous neice Tandia on our last visit to Toowoomba

I hope you did have a super day Mark and I love you lots, even though you are old hehehe:)
