Hip hip.... hooray

Birthday boy Mark had a wonderful day on Sunday the 2nd of May.... his 40th birthday. His day began with breakfast (as most days do) prepared by me and fit for a king.... eggs benedict.

After that he had yummy coffee with birthday fudge brownies. Then, later in the afternoon we went for a picnic in the park with cheese and olives and dips and wine. Last but not least, for dinner he got a baked whole snapper stuffed with prawns and citrus.....!!! YUMMY! But the best thing was that I got to eat all those yummy things too :) Obviously I know all too well the way to my boyfriends heart is direct via his stomach!!

This is my favourite photo of Mark. I've redone it in photoshop to make him look even more handsome. The photo itself was taken a couple of years ago but it still melts my heart every time I look at it. The tattoo for those wondering is the Chinese symbol for the Year of the Dog (1970).
