Life goes by way too quickly and we can easily forget the little things that make us smile or the people who make us laugh

Photography has become a huge part of my life and I believe it should be a big part of everyone’s life. Photos help remind us visually of how lucky we are to be here and how blessed we are to have people around, who love and care for us.

At Kylie Gillis Photography we specialise in capturing families of all shapes and sizes, at all stages

Change is as good as a holiday :)

Things are about to change at kylie gillis PHOTOGRAPHY......

In the coming weeks I will have a new logo, a new header for my blog as well as a new background, all incorporating my new flash logo.  I will also be getting new business cards and a marketing set including a letterhead and new information packages for those interested in using us to capture your pets, family or wedding!!

So stay tuned for new and exciting changes happening with kylie gillis PHOTOGRAPHY, an all new look but the same fantastic photos!!

Also, around the corner I'll have some beautiful photos of the wedding I shot this weekend gone, plus a surly looking ginger cat plus lots lots more still to come so again.... stay tuned.  Here is a small taste of the wedding between Karen and Les at Mooloolaba.  I have nearly 1400 photos from the day so there will be plenty of images for Karen and Les to choose from, it may take me some time though to get through them all!!

Congratulations and all the best!

XENA - Big Dog

Xena belongs to my Dad and she is about 6 now. My dad recently had a birthday so I took the liberty of taking Xenas photos to guarantee a great present that he would love. She is a gorgeous dog who is full of love and is likely to lick you to death before she would ever hurt you intentionally. Unintentionally though, she can really hit hard with that big solid head but one look into those beautiful brown eyes of hers and all is forgiven - what’s one or two bruises between friends!!

Xena is a real sweetie and she has a "thing" for me...... and with a face like that who could say no.....!!!

To Manda......

One of my very best good friends, Amanda, has been living abroad now for about 4 years.  In that time she's been just about everywhere Korea and Greece, Spain and Scotland but mainly in London and I've missed her laugh, I've missed our chats and I've and missed her singing (only slightly...... if at all) but it won't be long now and she will be home!  YAY!
The last time she was home was for Christmas 09 but it feels like a decade since I've seen her and this was a photo of us then.

I've known Amanda now for 20 years and together we've laughed, we've cried, we've travelled, we've eaten, we've danced, we've had too much to drink, but mainly we've laughed.  I don't talk to her as much as I'd like to but think about her almost every day.
She is such a beautiful person inside and out who deserves nothing but the best of everything.  I miss her so much and am looking forward to when she gets home.....

The middle reads:

For those of you who know Amanda and I and our friendship may understand some of what has been said but most will think I'm just crazy.... I just wanted to tell her how important she is to me and always will be.

Love you miss you can’t wait to see you :) Mmmwah xxooxx
