It took weeks of planning and cancelling to finally get our maternity shoot done with Corinne up on the Sunshine Coast. Every time we tried to organise a day, we had to postpone due to bad weather. Even on this day, as I was driving to meet Corinne, I was driving into black, black storm clouds. As it was, when we got to the beach, the sky's cleared, the sun came out and we had 20 minutes of the most perfect light for a super quick shoot.
In the first few we took at this tree the sun was just peeking through with gorgeous light...
When we went around to the other side, we were greeted with more glorious sunlight....
I would never have imagined the sky could be this stunning.... even as the storm clouds rolled back in, it didn't matter which way I shot, the sky looked so pretty!! And the rocks and water on there own, were just as pretty!
This one was a bit arty and I was playing around with some different effects. I love the dark purple cloud creeping into the top corner (that was the storm on its way back).
I think this one is my favourite and especially as a panoramic but all these shots with that spectacular sky are winner in my book!
We were so lucky to get any shots that day let alone some of the prettiest and best shots I've taken. Thanks to Corinne for being so awesome and patient while we waited for the weather to turn in our favour.
Corinne welcomed a beautiful little girl a few weeks later and I'll be sharing some of her cute newborn shots soon :)
