An afternoon of Show fun

Mark and I hadn't been to the Ekka in years so when it rolled around in August, we decided to brave the crowds, catch a train and head into the Brisbane Show. We ended up going on the perfect afternoon as there was hardly anyone there so we had no lines or queues...... magic. I took my camera and took a few snaps but my favourites were probably the chooks. Understandably it was a bit smelly but I saw some weird, wonderful and hilarious looking chickens, roosters and birds.

If it weren't for persistent blisters on my feet (had 3 by the time we got home), we would have stayed longer for night shots with the lights but I'm still happy with what I got :)

These were my favourites as well, I love the colours and I love the blue sky peaking through.
