Once upon a time, a pretty princess, cousin to a photographer, got married to her prince in a glorious church ceremony in Toowoomba. The reception was to follow at the stunning Gabbinbar Homestead, about 5 hours after the end of the ceremony, allowing ample time for cousin/photographer to shoot shoot shoot before any guests were to arrive. I was asked to second shoot the day and jumped at the chance. I gave my cards and image to Renee at the end of the day and was hoping to get them back to see how I did overall. We had a little glitch on the post (somehow the cards were wiped and I got nothing back.... but not too worry I will get to see them all next time I venture up to see Renee). I did however, manage to sneak a few of the last few set ups we did and this is the result. I've also added a before and after shot, before being straight out of the camera and after being my finished and final result that I would show to the customer.
This was the gorgeous bride Stevie in her incredible Cinderella dress. These were my last shots of the day remember and she still looks fabulous, perhaps a bit tired but she was an amazing model.
Here is the before and after
Gabbinbar Homestead had amazing, large grounds with everything from tennis courts to croquet lawns and even this old bath tub. When we proposed to the bride that she get in, she didn't hesitate (it was clean and dry, just a few leaves) - Stevie, you totally rock!! And then, she posed like a pro with no instruction.....
s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g :)
Croquet anyone...
I did manage to recover a few lost images from my cards and got some from the start of the day and I was in charge of flowers and rings and bits and pieces. Stevie's bouquet was just beautiful too with every rose sparkling.
I found a little bit of a rusty wire around an old stump that I thought was a great contrast against their wedding bling!
Love Love Love :)
Thanks guys for letting be apart of your day and what a day it was. Congratulations and all the best...... living happily ever after xx
