Daddy had a little lamb, little lamb

On a recent visit to my Dads place in Stanthorpe, we were lucky enough to be there at the right time.  The morning after we arrived, we were woken by the baa's of Dads sheep outside our bedroom window. 

On investigation, this is what we found.....

 

 

a sweet little lamb only just born! 

 

The new mum was a little protective of her new baby, she wouldn't let me get too close and kept one eye on me at all times but I did manage to get a few shots before she started to look awfully angry with me!

 

 

This is one of the new uncle coming to see what all the fuss is about.

 

 

It's always fun to go out to my Dads little hobby farm and this time it was really special. 

 

I'm hoping for piglets on our next visit!





Dexter.....me-ow :)

This is one cool cat with one cool name, Dexter, the beautiful Russian Blue.  Dexter belongs to a friend of ours and on a recent visit, I took my camera and took a few shots of him outside, hunting!

 

 

 

This would definitely have to be my favourite, a close up of those stunning green eyes!

Baby doll Corbie

The second addition to the McNeil family happens to be just as cute and adorable as the first 2 years ago.  They didn't want a lot of photos this time round, just some family shots and a few shots on her own. 

 

This is little Miss Corbie and she is as cute as a button!

 

 This is the 2 McNeil girls with the same shot two years apart with little Corbie on the right.  Its one of my favourite sgots and I've only ever done it with these two girls so I have dubbed it............... "The McNeil!"

McNeil Family Magic

I had the pleasure of capturing my gorgeous friend Kay Ellen for her second pregnancy with husband Trent and her first bubba Isla.  We used the same beautiful location we shot at back in 2011 when she was pregnant with little Isla see here.  A beautiful location on the Sunshine Coast and the beautiful McNeil family......

 

Now my favourite mother daughter shot ever!

 

Isla was so gorgeous and did an amazing job..... love her to bits!

 

 

Kay Ellen - One of the most stunning people, inside and out and she really makes pregnancy look goooooood :)

I love this family shot - sometimes its easier to let them do what they like, which Isla did but I love the outcome!!

They are........ The Wrights!

I was thrilled to be contacted from an old high school friend (good old Facebook!) to do some newborn photos of her first little bubba, Jayden.  Alize lives in Harvey Bay so we were a long way from each other but were able to meet about half way and used her friends lovely house at Burpengary (thanks again).  I got to meet Alize's husband Eli and her newest little man Jayden.  He was one of the sweetest little things and such a gem to photograph.  He stayed awake for a little while, trying not to miss anything but we wore him out pretty quick and got him a bit milk drunk and were able to get some absolutely gorgeous shots with him sleeping too.

 

 

I think this has to be my favourite and now one of my all time favourites. 

 

 

 

 

They had such a lovely deck, I just had to use it!

 

Jayden had woken up at this stage and was getting a bit grumbly so dad Eli took over, popped him on his favourite place.....

 

 

and before too long......

 

He was fast asleep again.  I didn't set this pose up, Jayden got upset so dad was just settling him down and I couldn't help but just grab a quick snap of his gorgeous pout and then that happened!!  The shot below with Eli and Jayden is now my favourite newborn shot E.V.E.R and for something that was so unplanned, turned out so unbelievably perfect, I am so thrilled.....*sigh*....  :)

 

 

This blue fence was just the best background to use considering their own choice of colour to wear!  I couldn't have asked for a better background..... Brilliant..... and they totally rocked it :)

 

 

 

Just a delightful and adorable family!!

Cinderella Wedding Part II

I was able to get my hands on some more of the images I took as second shooter for this gorgeous wedding back in November with the delightful and absolutely gorgeous Stevie and Phil - first post here.  As a second shooter, I didn't have all the pressure on me that day so I was able to have some fun with my fish eye lens and doing a few different things for me.  I can say that I am so over the moon with the shots that I got!!

There are still so many that I haven't done.... all the ceremony photos inside that stunning church and I've just randomly picked some stand outs for me, I'm thinking I still might do them all up and have another gorgeous wedding to add to me portfolio.
