WEEK 36
Well, aside from my first anniversary falling during the week and my husband taking the day off to hang out with me, I have had a very quiet and some might even say lazy week..... I haven't even picked up my camera. I did however spend a lot of time editing this week and getting some model call outs finalised for the coming weeks. This series of shots is from my recent trip to Stradbroke Island. We were watching a pod of dolphins way off shore for ages and then a small group made their way towards us. I was so excited that I was able to capture them as they broke the surface..... not just once but twice..... WOOHOO for me!!
This is the series as they got closer to us, first swimming, then one popped out the front and a little bit later, one popped out the back. The water was such an unbelievable shade of bluey green and was crystal clear - it was just amazing.
WEEK 37
This is the beautiful Sarah and Jake from their recent wedding at Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. It was such a most gorgeous location, it was actually hard to shoot at as there was so many different places to shoot, I felt a little overwhelmed. This is one of my favourite shots of the day and I adore the look of love that is being exchanged here...... *sigh*
WEEK 38
I love Spring and I especially love the smell of Spring. This 'yesterday, today and tomorrow' tree grows outside my office window and when the breeze is just right, I get a big whiff of its glorious scent. I spotted this little fella on a return from a walk and didn't think I'd be lucky enough to get in the house, get my camera, put in the card and get back outside to shoot him before he took off. But luck was on my side that day and he was still there.
I love the colours together and I can't wait to print this baby on a big ol' canvas :)
WEEK 39
I recently did a model call out on my facebook page for some little girls to model some of the headbands that I've been making. This is little Charlotte who is 8months old and was such fun to photograph. Mum, Rowena, was an amazing help getting her to smile and clap, she even had me giggling! We spent a windy afternoon at their picturesque home on the Sunshine Coast and we go lots and lots of gorgeous shots of this little princess.
Obviously this isn't on of the headbands that I've made, but a beanie I bought as a prop. I hadn't used it and my adorable model was more than happy to help me out hehehe!
Who doesn't love a little monkey!?!? Can't wait to share more from this shoot........ :)
