This week, I have a photo from a shoot I did last night of Ang the Zumba instructor. We took a bunch of photos before her class began and then while everyone was exercising/dancing around. I took sooooooo many photos and have a lot of work ahead of me but thought this one was a little bit fun. I'm a big fan of colour and B&W photos and thought this was a great advert for Zumba. It was a hard choice as I have many to choose from, her little boy even got in on the action and danced at the back the whole class, he is such a cutie! Enjoy :)

Trash the Dress #2
A few weeks ago, I did a post Trash the Dress # 1 and we followed that up the next day with a second trashing, with dress # 2. I loved this dress, it had a victorian feel to me, with the puffy grey skirt. We headed to a friends dad's property in Mooloolah on the Sunshine Coast where we had a range of different backdrops we could use. First we started at the house then head down to the paddock where there were cows, a creek and one of the most stunning trees I've ever seen. We had a lot of fun that day and the rain coming on and off most of the afternoon, did little to dampen or spirits!!
This is probably my favourite shot of Mima over both days. I looooove the bricks and her eyes just jump out at you. She really was a great little model :P
I love these Geisha girl trees with their delicate little purple flowers. I especially liked it that day as it was a really big tree and the purple went so well with the grey skirt.
These were some of the last shots I did (only today actually) but I love the rustic, country feel with the wood and the corrugated iron *sigh*
This is the beautiful big gum tree, the only tree in the back paddock (well, nearly) until riiiiiiight down the back near the creek (the line of trees in the background).
The cows were so curious, they stood around and watched us for ages. Got a little hairy (especially for Mima) a couple times, they came so close we could touch them!!
This was a concept I had in my head so I bought the umbrella on my way to the coast and was so happy with how it turned out. Something about a bubble shower......... but special thanks has to go to my awesome helper Manda who ran around with the bubble gun and shot until we had no bubble juice left. Nice work Manda :)
These were more fantastic than I could've hoped for. The light was so perfect, coming through all the gorgeous trees. Awwwww..... perfect :)
Such a trooper getting down and dirty in the creek and in a big puddle we found. Goodness knows what lives in the creek but she emerged unhurt, just a little soggy hehehe :)
I have one more post in the Trash the Dress series. We finished day 2 with our model putting her original dress back on from the previous day and we had a little more fun with it.... I can't wait to share them soon!! Again it was an idea I had and just wanted to see what we could do but I had no idea they would turn out as brilliantly as they did...... stay tuned.
I can't thank both Mima and Manda enough for letting me go wild with our shoot and I hope they had as much fun as I did. On ya ladies...... mmwah xx

FUN FOTO FRIDAY - Week 7
Yesterday I had a lovely shoot with the adorable Ashleigh. She was a lot of fun to photograph and looked gorgeous. She and her hubby Dom are already parents to two stunning children and this little bump will make number three, in only 4 weeks time!
Can't wait to share more from her fabulous shoot and also when the bubby arrives :)

Mr Mason
Some more shots of the handsome Mr Mason from the maternity shoot we did with his mum. He was so much fun and ready for just about anything. I love the B&W shots, his eyes look amazing and his big happy smile makes me smile too! He was very excited about the twins arrival and from what I hear, he is an awesome big brother who can't stop kissing and touching his new little sisters (post to come soon also!).
He was a lot of fun and next time I see him I hope he'll let me take a photo of him with his gorgeous baby sisters.

Mummy and Mason
This is Mr Mason, big brother to gorgeous twins Scarlett and Indiah. But before there were little sisters, mum Taya had to get through the pregnancy. Mason was really looking forward to meeting his new little sisters and was a joy to photograph. Poor Taya was really uncomfortable with her big tummy but looked radiant as the expectant mum. It was a hoot to take her photo and to shoot Mason aswell.
This was my favourite shot of the day with both mum and dad holding Tayas tummy.
Their garage door worked so well as a backdrop, I loved it!
I love this shot with her toes poking out the bottom...... they look so small
I'll post again with some more shots of Mason on his own, too many for one post. Until then.......

Week 6 - Fun Foto Friday
This is Honey, a Staffy X that stole my heart last night! My good friend Manda is house sitting and looking after this little one as well. I went and stayed with them last night and instantly fell in love with this gorgeous girl. We even shared a room and she snored most of the night but one look into those big puppy dog eyes and all was forgiven. I'm a huge dog lover but I especially love Staffys because of the big smile they get and this little lady had one of the biggest I've seen.
Thanks Manda for the dinner and laughs and thanks Honey for all the kisses :)

Beautiful Boudoir
A friend of mine was kind enough to pose for me with a boudoir style shoot. I was looking to do something a little different and thought she would make a perfect model for this theme. It was a tricky shoot, done in a fairly dark bedroom, while it poured rain, on and off all afternoon. I'm happy with what we achieved and if anything, I think I learnt a lot for the next boudoir shoot. Here is a sample of my favourites from the day.
This is definitely my favourite from the day. I worked hard to get this just right and I'm wrapped with the end result :)
I loved this little red bra, super cute and super girly!
This was also a favourite of mine..... I don't know why I just really like it!
Thanks again to my gorgeous model, you did a fab job :)

Fun Foto Friday - Week 5
This week, I have the cutest little bums you've ever seen. This is Indiah and Scarlett, nearly four weeks old now but still so little and adorable. We ended up having 2 shoots with them as they weren't having the best day last week when we did their first shoot. We returned yesterday to have another go but something tells me they aren't a fan of having their photos done as again, we had a repeat of shoot one. Luckily they were still and sleepy for long enough to get some gorgeous photos.
I will post some of their beautiful faces..... just starting at the bottom and working my way up ;) Hehehe

Adorable Eden Rose
This little cherub is the daughter of my good friend Renee..... please meet Eden Rose.
Renee is a fellow photographer so this little girl is used to having a camera pointed at her so I thought she would be the perfect model for some new props I had. Here she is wearing two of my new petti skirts and some little leg warmers. I absolutely looooove the royal blue skirt and with the candy stripe leg warmers, she was too cute for words......

The two larger shots were her dancing, such a sweetheart :)
And this is the most beautiful smile ever :)
After playing dress ups in the blue skirt, we moved onto the white petti skirt with blue leg warmers with white spots. As she started to "get over" the photo shoot, we bribed her with mini M&Ms which worked a treat!
Her rewards for having her photos taken was a giant star freckle-pop which brought a huge smile to her face. She quickly demolished it too :)
(see Fun Foto Friday - Week 4 for what was left)
After the shoot and the chocolate, it was cuddle time with mum and I snapped this quick photo..... awwwww.... pulls on the heart strings I think
Massive thanks to Renee for lending me your beautiful daughter for the afternoon and to Eden for being such a gorgeous model xx
